StaticMap

Source node: load a BayesianMap from a GeoJSON file at configure() time.

Module Contents#

class mufasa.nodes.mapping.static.StaticMap(source: str, default_prior: float = 0.5)#

Bases: mufasa.node.Node

Source node: load a BayesianMap from a GeoJSON file at configure() time.

Each feature defines a spatial region and its prior probability via a ‘confidence’ property (0–1). Regions not covered by any feature remain NaN so BayesianFusion (nansum) ignores them, contributing nothing to the fused output for those pixels.

For overlapping features the lower confidence wins (most conservative prior).

The node is a source — it has no predecessors — so it must be declared in Graph(inputs=[…, static_map]). Its map is fully populated after configure() and never changes; process() is a no-op.

Parameters:
  • source (str)

  • default_prior (float)

source#
default_prior = 0.5#
property map: mufasa.map.BayesianMap#
Return type:

mufasa.map.BayesianMap

configure(crs, bbox, resolution) → None#

Receive spatial configuration from the Graph at construction time.

Override in nodes that need crs/bbox/resolution to initialise internal state (e.g. POM creates its map here). Default is a no-op.

Return type:

None

process() → None#

Static maps carry no temporal events — intentional no-op.

Return type:

None

get_config() → dict#

Return all constructor arguments as a plain JSON-serializable dict.

Used by Graph.to_config() to serialise the pipeline. Every key must be a string; every value must be JSON-serializable.

Return type:

dict
